The Victron SmartShunt 500A/50mV IP65 is a compact, all-in-one battery monitor designed for streamlined installations. With no built-in display, it uses Bluetooth to connect directly to the VictronConnect app on a smartphone or tablet, giving instant access to key battery data including state of charge, voltage, current, time to go, and historical performance.
Ideal for marine, RV, and off-grid systems where space and wiring are limited, the SmartShunt offers a clean alternative to traditional battery monitors like the BMV series. It also supports integration with a GX device via VE.Direct for system-wide monitoring.
The unit includes Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port, and an additional input for monitoring a second battery, midpoint voltage, or a temperature sensor. Its IP65-rated design offers water and dust protection, making it suitable for harsh environments.
