Other rig tension gauges on the market use plastic rollers and components which after a short amount of time start to wear. Once the components start to wear, it affects the readings that the gauge gives you. Which ultimately affects the performance of your rig, boat and boat speed.
The Sea Sure Rig Gauge PRO uses 316 stainless steel rollers, and a blend of aircraft grade aluminium and 316 stainless steel components in the pointer arm. All main contact points within the rig gauge are manufactured from 316 stainless steel. We do this as they will wear far less, over a much longer period of time, giving you more repeatable reliable readings when tuning your rig.
