The Harken 57mm T2 Red Sheave Soft-Att. Ratchamatic Block is the latest addition, showcasing the distinct T2 line’s design and soft-attachment method. Despite its few ounces in weight, this block boasts high strength due to its composite fiber-reinforced sideplates, hardcoat-anodized aluminum sheave, and lightweight soft-attach. The ratcheting mechanism is streamlined with minimal moving parts. T2 blocks are secured through their load-bearing center, reducing sideplate stress and serving as a system safety backup. This design facilitates ratchet height adjustments close to the deck for optimal lead fairness. The Harken Ratchamatic mechanism seamlessly transitions from free-running to ratchet mode, ensuring sheets run out smoothly and instantly release during maneuvers. Clear, high-contrast markers indicate correct reeving and trimming. Ideal for mainsheet, spinnaker systems on beachcats, dinghies, and sportboats. A Spectra® line with a polyester cover is provided.
