Description
The Barton Size 5 Single Variloc & Becket Block is designed for larger cruising and racing yachts with nylon sheaves suitable for all ropes including braided dyneema. Newly designed for 2019 onwards the Barton Blocks are known as great value for money and practical for many applications. For racing applications consider getting the ball bearing versions.
The Variloc Strip Shackle can be adjusted at 30º positions in relation to sheave. Inverting the plastic locking piece converts the block to swivel.
Barton Size 5 Blocks are high load cruiser bocks of rugged construction, featuring injection moulded side plates with all load-carrying components from 316 grade stainless steel. Side plates are through-bolted and riveted for added strength and security.
